Dr. Salwa Hasan completed her undergraduate studies in Life Sciences at the University of Toronto, followed by a Master’s in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in the United Kingdom. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine and complete her residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto. She has pursued additional training in ambulatory cardiology and cardiac diagnostics. Her clinical interests include preventative cardiology, lifestyle medicine, and the management of complex chronic conditions. She is also deeply committed to addressing the social determinants of health, with a focus on immigrant and newcomer populations. Dr. Hasan is dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate, and patient-centred care to empower her patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.
